CG manufactures state of the art NON-SPARKING Motors Ex `n`. These motors meet the stringent quality and performance norms laid down by both Indian and International standards. CG is supplying these motors for use in hazardous areas that are normally encountered in chemical industries, petrochemical refineries and mines etc for Zone II areas.
The UWR range of induction motors is the Slip Ring motor design. The UW range of motors has been designed to meet diversified application demands, while maintaining excellent performance and highest quality.
The FR range of induction motor includes the FRC/FRCV type Squirrel Cage motor and the FRA/FRAV type Slip Ring motors. The FRC/FRA type is horizontal and foot mounted (IM B3, IEC60034-7) machines, whereas FRCV/FRAV type is vertical and flange mounted (IM V1, IEC 60034-7).These motors are totally enclosed (IP 54, IEC 60034-5), self cooled with air-to-water heat exchanger (IC 81 W7, IEC 34-6).

- Minimised vibrations, noise and longer bearing life through minimised unbalance at every stage and precision balancing of Rotors using state of art dynamic balancing machine to grade better than 1.0.
- Maintaining adequate clearance between stationery and rotating parts.
- Providing adequate clearances and creep age paths between live phases and between phase and earth in the terminal boxes.
- Providing positive locking features for terminating the cables to guard against loosening of the termination due to vibrations etc
